Okay, I don't know why you were self-conscious about this fic. Because this fic? Rocked. Ah, The Return. There are so many ways to spin that Sparky, I could go on and on. I like this version because it's not overly sappy or uncharacteristic of the episode/characters we see on screen. It's, like, realistic. Which is not a thing many fanfic writers can do!
