Ok, so the murder mystery party thing for the flat tonight hit a bit of a snag - the game was delivered to my flatmate's home address, instead of here, and then we couldn't download it. But we found a new one online, and my new character is ten times cooler, mainly because her name's Elizabeth, and she's an actress! I'm totally doing my version of Torri for this, and it is going to be cooler than cool!

The graphics post will have to be done tomorrow or Sunday, 'cause I'm still not done packing, and everything's all a bit unsorted.

But yay - I'm Elizabeth the actress for the night!

Yeah, it was pretty cool (just finished, which is good 'cause I'm still really really not packed for going home tomorrow!) but it was a free one, and it just didn't really make sense once we got to the end and found out who the murderer was. But my character was way cool, and I got to wear my nice skirt, and play the kind of person that half the time I actually want to be. Also, my character got to be really over the top flirty with one of the guys I'm living with next year, so that was a laugh. All in all, a good way to end my first year!

I'm home until the last week in September, and lectures start up again in the first week in October.

I'm going to Croatia with my family and a friend of mine at the end of July (just in time for Harry Potter!) and possibly to France for a weekend with some of the people I went to school with. Other than that, I'm hopefully gonna be working most of the time.

Oh I know - I know exactly who I want to be (or, at any rate, I have it narrowed down to about three choices!), but actually being that person is way harder.

YAY for the Harry Potter! I'll be reading it in the single week of free time I have between end of uni and beginning of extra courses in Latin.

It is! I'm trying.. it takes time, but little but constant steps are better than just one big step forward and falling flat on your face.

Yeah, I'm really happy to be home for more than a few weeks.

It should be awesome - we're going to Split, and then sailing for the rest of the week. We've already ordered our copies of Harry Potter - we get to Croatia on the 20th, and I can't wait.

Definitely a city trip, probably Lille, 'cause I already know the city quite well, and it's only about an hour from the exit of the Channel Tunnel.
